December 2025

2025 has been an amazing year for halovox!

I had the opportunity to honor three of my favorite bands by participating in multiple tribute albums, covering “World In My Eyes” by Depeche Mode, “You Surround Me” by Erasure, and “Shame” by Nitzer Ebb.

I released my first collaborative track, “Crashing Lights” featuring The Black Star Experiment.

There was an incredibly fun and rewarding live performance at the Wilmington Goth Fest with Gothic Lizard, Night Rivals, Metamorph, and Dead Cool.

And lastly, the release of a brand new song, “First Bite”, which has had an overwhelmingly positive response.

I look forward to sharing more new music in 2026.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and support!

November 2025

The new halovox single "First Bite" will be released on December 5th!

IMPORTANT NOTE TO SPOTIFY FANS

The new halovox single “First Bite” will not be on Spotify.

I am grateful to everyone who has discovered halovox on Spotify. However, Spotify is not the best place for independent artists like me. I also take issue with the proliferation of AI music on this platform, which makes it harder for listeners to find the real people who put their hearts and souls into their music.

For these and many more reasons, I have decided I won’t release any new music on Spotify. I will leave my existing catalog for now.

Please consider following, supporting, and purchasing halovox songs and albums on Bandcamp.

Here are all of the places you can find halovox: https://hyperfollow.com/halovox

I would love to hear from you too! Email info@halovox.com

As always, I am sincerely grateful for your friendship and support.

All the best,

Frank

October 2025

Available in late October, Radio Body Music/80s Records will be releasing "Let Your Body Learn - A Tribute to Nitzer Ebb". halovox has produced a cover of "Shame".

halovox committed to participating in this compilation at the beginning of the year. Upon hearing the unexpected and devastating news of Douglas McCarthy's passing, the project took on even greater meaning. Nitzer Ebb was one of the first industrial bands I ever heard and I was immediately in love with the raw energy and power of their vocals, synths, and drums.

I was fortunate to see them perform a few times and the last time I met Douglas McCarthy before the show at the Gramercy Theatre in 2010. He was incredibly gracious and there was a peacefulness about him. It was amazing to share a few moments of conversation and experience him in that way. It was like the calm before the storm because once he hit the stage, he was the storm. His voice, music, and influence will live on forever and I will be forever grateful.

April 2025

The new halovox single "Crashing Lights" is now available!

This song is a collaboration with The Black Star Experiment and the realization of an idea from 15 years ago. While working on songs for the halovox album "Everybody Lies", I was developing a song about a car crash called "Blood On The Windshield". Lyrics were written and music composed, but it never came to fruition. I saved what I had, and it seemed that was as far as it would go.

When I heard the instrumental "Crashing Lights" by The Black Star Experiment, I immediately fell in love with its dreamy atmosphere. As I repeatedly listened, I found there was a natural space for some vocals and started singing along to it. I remembered some of the lyrics from "Blood On The Windshield" and thought they might fit. I recorded a rough demo and shared it with The Black Star Experiment, and I was very excited that they liked the idea and agreed to collaborate on a lyric version of the track.

We worked together on the new arrangement, and after I had finished writing and recording the vocals, The Black Star Experiment created the final mix of the song. Please order "Crashing Lights" now and be sure to check out all of The Black Star Experiment's releases!

Special thanks to Tenderlash for the wonderful cover art!
